The Gabriel Project ministry helping mothers in crisis pregnancies and protecting the dignity of human life is in dire need of baby beds.  If you want to donate a baby bed, please call (866) 627-9243.  The Gabriel Project also needs men to volunteer to assist with picking up, setting up, and delivering baby beds!

A Day of Spiritual Renewal
A day of spiritual renewal will be presented in Hallettsville on Saturday, August 7, 2010, at the Sacred Heart Church Family Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The program will be presented by Michael Fonseca who is the facilitator for spiritual formation in the Diaconate Program for the Diocese of Victoria.  Anyone seeking a deeper relationship with God and desiring to know more about prayer and Catholic spirituality will benefit from this day of renewal.  You will learn how to live in God's embrace in the daily circumstances of your life.  Michael will provide a healthy mix of input and prayer sessions.  There will be time for questions, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered.  There is no cost to attend the program, however a good-will offering may be made to help this ministry.  You may bring your lunch or purchase something in Hallettsville.

The Rite of Chrisitan Initiation of Adults Begins in September
The RCIA is preparation for non-Catholics who wish to be baptized and/or enter into the full communion of the Catholic Church.  The RCIA also serves as a means for baptized Catholics who have completed all of their sacraments to do so.  The RCIA will begin in September (exact date and time yet to be determined).  If you are interested in participating in the RCIA this fall, please contact the Parish Office.
